In honor of tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble, here’s a photo of the winner of the first ever Royal Rumble, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, holding an autographed plastic baseball.
Yesterday, our staff originally went to visit Brendan Harris, now of the Baltimore Orioles, at Crossgates Mall in Guilderland, NY. He was in the area for a Ronald McDonald House charity benefit.
In addition to Brendan Harris, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brian Sweeney, lead singer of Secondhand Serenade, John Vesely, and wrestlers Carlito and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan were there.
Knowing true talent when they see it, our staff immediately went over to “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, and asked him to pose with a plastic baseball. He agreed and also signed it! It’s getting added to my collection of autographed plastic baseballs.
We like “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan because he’s from nearby Glens Falls, NY, is very patriotic, acts like wrestling is real, and poses for photos holding autographed plastic baseballs. Plus, he helped raise $130,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Thanks “Hacksaw”, and staff!
